Sawyer Savings Bank is proud to support Marlboro Youth Baseball and Softball.

Sawyer Savings Bank is proud to become a sponsor of the Saugerties Skating Club of Saugerties. The Skating Club of Saugerties is located at the Kiwanis Ice Arena in Saugerties, NY and their mission is to provide skaters with programs and training, both private and in classes, to assist them in pursuit of their figure skating goals. The club is dedicated to the values of good sportsmanship and ethical practices and will incorporate these values in our daily routines and training programs. The club is committed to promoting the sport of figure skating by providing a professional and safe learning environment, in which skaters are encouraged and given every possible opportunity to reach their personal best in the sport. Along with members of the skating club, Sawyer Savings Branch Manager Jenn Gutheil-Denier was on hand as the sponsorship banner was being prepared to be displayed at the Kiwanis Ice Arena.

Sawyer Savings Bank is again proud to support the Ulster Literacy Association. Pictured here is Saugerties Branch Manager Jenn Gutheil-Denier and Ulster Literacy CEO Cassandra Beam. In 2015 Ulster Literacy was able to help nearly 400 learners, trained 62 volunteers and started an English for parents program in the Kingston City School District.

Saugerties Branch Manager Jenn Gutheil-Denier presents a check to The Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Atonement in support of their God Given Bread Food Program. Accepting the donation on the Church’s behalf was Rev. Sonja MacLarey, Marirose Hogan and Lou Vegeo.

Santa will be visiting our Saugerties Branch at 87 Market Street on Friday, December 11^th from 3:30 until 5:30 and our Marlboro Branch at 2 Riverview Drive, Suite 1 on Saturday, December 12^th from 10:00 until noon. Sawyer Savings Bank is proud to have been honored at an Awards Reception of the Town of Lloyd Economic Development Committee on November 10^th, 2015. Sawyer Savings Bank was recognized for Landscape Improvement, New Building, and Signage Improvement. We were also given an Award given by County Executive Michael Hein in recognition of our contribution toward the visual improvements in the town of Llyod.

Sawyer Savings Bank is proud to support the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley as a $2,500.00 Gold Sponsor of their Annual Farm-to-Fork Feast event. The mission of the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley is to alleviate hunger and prevent food waste. They work toward this mission by ensuring that all products available for donation reach the Food Bank and are distributed judiciously to their member agencies; by practicing responsible stewardship; and by actively participating in the community to increase awareness of hunger and poverty.

We welcome Cindy Montanye, who also joined the Sawyer Savings Bank team on October 5, 2015. Cindy has joined us in the position of Residential Mortgage Loan Processor and we look forward to her providing her friendly service and knowledge to our Sawyer customers.
